1.1 Mobility Vision Competition for Emerging Economies is organized and managed by Elephant Design Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India, CIN:U74999MH1995PTC088362 on behalf of Nissan Motor Corporation address: 1-1, Takashima 1-chome, Nishi-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa 220-8686, Japan.

1.2 The competition is intended for students to participate in a Design Challenge to develop Vehicle Design solutions for developing masses in emerging economies based on local issues.

2.1 Registration to the competition is open through invitation to Design Education Institutions. Student will participate through their respective schools as part of their curriculum under the guidance of Design faculty. These students will receive a detailed briefing deck and guidance through initial interaction.

2.2 Organizer reserves the rights to open the competition to individual students in some specific regions as open competition.

2.3 All students, who are interested in participating in the competition, would require to voluntarily register through our official website www.mobility.vision and fill the requisite forms.

2.4 Registration is free and voluntary.

2.5 Your registration is confirmed (a "Confirmed Registration") when we send this email to you, provided you have filled the form correctly and all fields that are mandatory to be filled.

2.6 On successful registration, you will be provided with a user name and password, which are sensitive and are to be treated as strictly confidential by you as we do not have any control on your use thereof. You are responsible for preventing unauthorised use of your user name and password. You must keep your username and password confidential at all times as you are responsible for all activities undertaken through your Account, as you will be solely responsible and liable for all your activities using such username and password. You agree to log-off from your Account at the end of each session and to email us immediately at ( admin@mobility.vision ) if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your username/password and/or account. We cannot and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.

3.1 You should be a bona fide student of the Design Institute that has registered with the organizers by signing the Letter Of Intent by Nissan Motor Corporation.

3.2 As an open entry participant, you must be a bona fide student of a recognized design education institute at the time of submitting the entry.

4.1 Disqualification will be on basis of:

You will be solely responsible for disqualification for any of the above reasons and we will not entertain any complaint or request in that regard.

5.1 Submission has to be as per the dates mentioned on the website.

5.2 Submission has to be as per the format specified in Brief document available on the website

5.3 No submission will be allowed if submitted beyond the date (day ending at 12.00am midnight)

5.4 As Student participant, you will not mention your name and Institute name on your finalr Submission. The name details will exist on your dashboard and will be available to administer your entry submissions to the jury.

5.5 Each Submission should not exceed 5 MB of file data.

5.6 Submission has to be in English language, if in case your submission is in any other language then translation should be accompanying the text as subtitles.

5.7 For Stage 2, regional winners have to submit a scale model and present their concept to Nissan at the local Nissan facility on the date specified to you through the stage, qualifier intimation letter.

6.1 The work submitted for the purpose of competition will be presumed as "Original Work" created by the participant.

6.2 If at any stage of the competition, your work is found to be not 'original work', you will not be qualified for the competition.

7.1 The Jury panel consists of experts from design and related fields and will be evaluating each entry on multiple parameters.

7.2 You understand, acknowledge and agree that there is a method and process behind the jury evaluation and that the decision of the jury will be final and binding. No correspondence or communication or re evaluation will be entertained in this regard.

7.3 You agree to abide by the decision of the Jury and not to dispute the same or institute any proceeding against the decision of the Jury

8.1 Nissan reserves the rights to use any output created in relation to this competition without any limitations. Participants are free to feature their output in their portfolios after completion of the competition as announced by Nissan.

9.1 All Mobility Vision Student Competition award winners will be notified by emails,

9.2 Any payments for a prize winner student will be through electronic money transfer to the specific student bank account unless expressly communicated otherwise,

9.3 The student will have to provide the details of his / her Bank account to facilitate the money transaction,

9.4 Any taxation as per the local laws will be borne by the student,

9.5 All certificates will be sent via email followed by courier to the Design faculty of the winning entry student except in case of open entries where it will be sent directly to the student at the address specified by the said student in the registration form,

9.6 Students will have to collect their certificates from their respective Design Faculty,

9.7 The reimbursement for the 1:5 scale model will be done upon successful submission of the model to Nissan at the local centre / facility of Nissan,

9.8 Travel to Nissan regional centre for regional winners or Nissan Headquarters for final winners and food, stay, conveyance will be arranged and borne by Nissan Motor Corporation as per Nissan norms,

9.9 Organizers or Nissan will not be responsible for arranging Personal/Travel / Life Insurance, Visa and Passport for the student. This has to be done by the individual student with help from Design Institute as required. Nissan would provide invitation letter required for Visa purpose.

10.1 It may be necessary for reasons beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, due to acts of God, severe weather, fire, explosion, military or terrorist acts (or threats of any such acts), any industrial action or widespread illness) to alter the advertised content, timing and/or location of the Competition. We reserve the right to do this at any time and we shall not be liable to you for any cost or other expenses (including wasted costs and expenses) incurred by you and/or your student(s) as a consequence (including, without limitation, registration fees and travel and accommodation expenses).

10.2 In case any student or Institute is not able to submit entries due to reasons beyond their reasonable control as stated above, cancellation will follow and we will not be liable therefor.

11.1 Mobility Vision is a registered trademark owned by Elephant, along with any content, look and feel of the website for which the copyrights lie with Elephant Design Pvt. Ltd. No (i) photography, filming or recording; or (ii) republication, broadcast or other dissemination of the Content is permitted without our prior written consent. Use of our trademark or the Content is strictly prohibited and you shall not distribute, reproduce, modify, store, transfer or in any other way use any of the Content (save that use by the participant for this competition submission purposes shall be permitted) without our prior written consent, and in particular (but without limitation) you shall not (and shall procure that each of your students shall not) without our prior written consent:

11.1.1 upload any Content into any shared system;

11.1.2 include any Content in a database;

11.1.3 include any Content in a website or on any intranet;

11.1.4 transmit, re-circulate or otherwise make available any Content to anyone else;

11.1.5 make any commercial use of the Content whatsoever; or

11.1.6 use Content in any way that might infringe third party rights or that may bring us or any of our affiliates into disrepute.

11.2 The Content does not necessarily reflect our views or opinions.

11.3 Suggestions or advice contained in the Content should not be relied upon in place of professional or other advice. Whilst we take reasonable care to ensure that the Content created by us is accurate and complete, some of it is supplied by third parties and we are unable to check its accuracy or completeness. You are free to verify the accuracy of any information (whether supplied by us or third parties) before relying on it. You agree and acknowledge that the Content is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any warranties of any kind (express or implied). 11.4 To the extent that any Content is made available by us online we reserve the right to suspend or remove access to such Content at any time.

12.1 You agree to indemnify us, our staff and our affiliates and to hold us harmless to the fullest extent permitted by law, against all loss, costs, claims or expenses of any kind arising from any act or omission by you (including students & faculty) during or otherwise in relation to the Competition.

12.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude either party's liability for:

12.2.1 death or personal injury caused by that party's negligence, or the negligence of that party's employees, agents or subcontractors;

12.2.2 fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

13.1 These Terms and Conditions (together with any documents referred to herein or required to be entered into pursuant to these Terms and Conditions, including without limitation any registration form) constitute the entire agreement and understanding between us and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings or arrangements (both oral and written) relating to the subject matter of these Terms and Conditions and any such document.

13.2 You acknowledge that in registering as a participant, shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, warranty, understanding, promise or assurance (whether negligently or innocently made) of any person other than as expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions.

13.3 These Terms and Conditions shall not create, nor shall they be construed as creating, any employment, partnership or agency relationship between us.

13.4 You accept that communication with us may be electronic. We may contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. You agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all such communications that we provide to you electronically on the Internet or otherwise have inherent risks and that such communications may become lost, delayed, intercepted, corrupted or be otherwise altered, rendered incomplete or fail to be delivered. We shall use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that electronic communications which we send are free from viruses and any other material which may cause inconvenience or harm to any other computer system and you undertake to do likewise with any electronic communications you may send to us, and to that extent, we shall have no responsibility or liability to you on any basis.

13.5 You are not permitted to re-sell, transfer, assign or otherwise dispose of any of your rights or obligations arising under these Terms and Conditions.

13.6 Mobility Vision Competition logo/certificate/trophy is the intellectual property, including copyright, design rights and trademark rights, of Elephant Design Pvt. Ltd. for Nissan Motor Corporation. Nissan Motor Corporation have the exclusive right to and not limited to, reproduce, manufacture, copy, and sell the logo/certificate/trophy in any size or medium, and to distribute or exploit the design of the logo or reproductions of same by gift, sale, re-sale or licence. No reproduction, replica or other copy of the logo/certificate/trophy may be made or used by any manufacturer, advertiser, organisation or individual except in accordance with these terms unless you have the prior express written consent or license from Nissan Motor Corporation.

13.7 These Terms and Conditions and the rights and obligations of both parties shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the Indian laws and both parties irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India in respect of any dispute which arises hereunder.

You agree as a winning student that we shall be able to use information you provide to us to prepare and distribute a winning students list which may be published anywhere in the world including on our website.

We don't allow the sharing or publishing of content depicting nudity, graphic sex acts, or other sexually explicit material. We also don't allow content that drives traffic to commercial pornography sites or that promotes pedophilia, incest, or bestiality.

We have a zero tolerance policy towards content that exploits children. This means that we will terminate the accounts of any user we find sharing or publishing child sexual abuse imagery. We will also report the content and its owner to law enforcement.

We also do not allow the sharing or publishing of content that encourages or promotes sexual attraction towards children.
